10th Annual San Antonio Conference on Stem Cell Research & Regenerative Medicine
Location: Coming Soon

Dear 2024 RegenMed SA conference registrants –

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the 10th Annual RegenMed SA Conference on Stem Cell Research and Regenerative Medicine! The conference will be held on Thursday and Friday of this week (see attached program), in the HEB Student Union Ballrooms 1&2 on the main 1604 campus of UTSA (see campus map below). If you are not an employee or student at UTSA, you can park in the Ximenes Avenue Garage and we will provide you with a parking pass to avoid any parking charge. YOU MUST park in the Ximenes Garage for our parking pass to work! See location of the garage on the map below. When you enter the garage, take a ticket from the machine. Then get a parking pass from our registration desk at the conference and present BOTH your ticket and the pass to the garage cashier when you are ready to depart the campus to avoid having to pay for parking.

To access parking and the conference it will be best to enter the campus from the south side along UTSA Boulevard (which is an exit from I-10 going west). Enter the campus on Ximenes Avenue (at a signal). Drive until you reach a stop sign and you should see the Ximenes Ave parking garage building to your right. Be sure to park inside the garage and not in a surface lot!

The conference will start promptly at 8:30 am on both Thursday and Friday mornings (see attached conference program). Light breakfast items plus box lunches will be served each day along with snacks during coffee breaks and wine and cheese during the poster session and networking reception on Thursday. Platform talks plus our first keynote lecture will be held from 8:30am – 5:00pm on Thursday followed by a poster session and networking reception from 5:00-7:00pm that same day. Platform talks plus our second keynote lecture will be held from 8:30am – 12:40pm on Friday, followed by lunch and a panel discussion on Career Opportunities in the Biotechnology Sector from 12:40 – 2:00pm. The conference will adjourn at 2:00pm.

If you are presenting a talk you will receive a separate email with instructions for loading your slides.

If you are presenting a poster, poster boards and clips will be provided.

We are looking forward to another great RegenMed SA conference!

Sincerely, – John McCarrey
